August already...I totally missed June...we did stuff but I can't really prove it because I didn't blog it.  Oh well...  In JULY we were super busy and I brought out the camera a lot!

First, the kids went to Canada to visit the Russell's!  They had a great time! Then we headed to Wyoming!

Brannen was determined we would "camp out" while we were there.  I love camping out in Wyoming, especially when "camping out" means a quick 3 minutes up the canyon to build a fire and enjoy the evening then come back to a nice soft bed.

Grandpa Jones instructed the little ones on the finer points of building a fire.  Of course Brannen didn't need any help!  That kid LIVES to throw stuff in the fire!

 Maura had a short botany lesson from Grandpa Jonesy as we took a hike through the trees.

 Sitting around the fire enjoying the evening...until a beer can exploded and left us drenched!  Ha ha!  That is the LAST TIME we let Jonesey put unidentified trash on the fire!!  Some previous campers left stuff and we thought it would be good to burn it instead of hauling it out because it was dripping. It was FUNNY!

And of course the evening wouldn't have been complete without a little cowboy poetry!
