It was the highlight of his school years to date!

 They spent 5 full days in San Diego.  It started with an early morning (3am) airplane ride and ended with a late return.  They came off the plane exhausted, sunburned, and happy! All his classmates that went.

 They did a ton of activities.  Archery...

 Beach time...

Climbing...

And SURFING!!

Dallin is now determined to buy a surf board before our CA trip this summer...

From what I hear it was a super educational and fun trip.

 The ONE part I didn't like... I didn't get to go! :0(

Once a month...that's all I seem to manage lately on the blog!

Summer is upon us and we've had a good first week of it! Swimming, friends, lots of sun, neighborhood parties, more friends and more sun! 

The Verde River

We kicked off summer with a short trip to the Verde river.  The water was refreshing and the day was sunny and nice! Not super hot yet, and just perfect!

We brought along some friends (Cousin Leslie with Bella and Sam, and a neighborhood friend, Jesse)

Wherever we go, Maura wants to take pictures!

So, we've documented a lot of things that I wouldn't typically record, such as a check up at the doctor's office.

Music Night

Maura's class did a night of music for parents.  It was so fun! Maura is really great at singing! She remembers words, and can carry a tune, and she loves it!

 She wanted to dress extra special for the concert.

Las Vegas, Baby!

Heidi (the daughter of some good friends) joined me on a trip to Las Vegas to meet my sister and her husband for a weekend.

We had a really grat time! So glad she came with me!

 Started the trip with a visit to the Las Vegas temple!

 The rest of the trip was just plain silliness...it was great!
