David came to visit for a week and stayed with Katie.  We were finally able to get together on Friday and spend the day!  We went swimming at Mesquite Groves Aquatic Center in Chandler, then back to my house for naps and food.  Then we piled into the car to go visit Ellen!

David had a chance to practice his French, and of course we brought out all the fun toys Ellen has!

 He is the sweetest and cutest little one... I just wanna keep him!

We also got to Skype with Aaron (cousin) Flake and visit a bit with Anne and Rob!

The Montessori Centre

May 7th, 2013 was Family Game Night in Maura's class at school.  Each family brought their own dinner to eat as a picnic, and a game to share.  Maura, Dallin and I went and had a great time!

Twister was one of the favorites, the other favorite was State Sequence (a game with names of states and capitols).

 Ms. Leticia is one of Maura's teachers, and we LOVE her!

A summary of what has been happening lately (or maybe not even so recently) in picture form:

Went hiking with the Grimes family at Usery Park.

Katie, Kevin, Adell and Damien came over to play one day then we went to the Mesa Art Center (MAC)for an art festival.

 It was a warm day, so we mostly played in the water!

We played a neighborhood game of baseball and had  blast!

Enjoyed the traditional Easter breakfast at the park with friends.

April

I'll try and do a little summary of all the events during April.  We have truly been blessed and have had busy lives. We are healthy and happy and our lives are full.

Court of Honor!  Dallin received an advancement and is now busy working on merit badges.  The ones he is most looking forward to doing are a rifle merit badge and a physical fitness one.

 Poor Parker got sick.  He must have had cancer for a long time, because when we discovered it he was suffering.  We sent him to go keep Garrett and Grandma Jonesey company.

 There is a serious competition between the boys and myself to see who can index the most names before May 15th....

 We have photo shoots quite often...

And my crazy brother still lives with me! :0)
